Adventures by Bus

While there is no shortage of fun to be found at La
Posada, every once in a while we all have to get out. La Posada is pleased to provide both essential outings, such as trips to the grocery store or banks,
as well as outings just to have some fun!

If there is any place you would like to visit that
is not on the calendar, please reach out to the
activities department. We are always happy to
accommodate outing requests whenever possible.

In addition to our regularly scheduled outings,
every Tuesday is Doctor Day. Simply sign-up by the
Sunday before, to schedule your upcoming
appointment and our bus driver, Patrick, will
make sure you get where you need to be.

Where Do We Go?

Essential Outings

We frequently go to Safeway, Trader Joe’s, Grocery Outlet,
Walgreens, Lucky’s, Rite Aid, Target, K-Mart,
Dollar Store, Capitola Mall, Banks and
Goodwill/Thrift Stores.

Fun Outings

We’ve traveled to San Juan Bautista, had a Day at the Boardwalk,
and visisted Roaring Camp Railroads. We’ve walked and picnicked at
Henry Cowell, visited and Art Show at the Ugly Mug, and we provide bus service to our
Weekly Walks.

Restaurants

We’ve been to Jeffery’s, Dolphin on the Wharf, Gilda’s, and
more.

I like the Seacliff Walks; lunches are good and
things seem to be filling up again.”

I think the outings are fantastic. On Thursdays
I use the bus to go grocery shopping, but I enjoy
going to new and different places for eating out
and shopping. I like interacting with the bus
driver, Patrick, and the other riders.
